The Dealer

Posted by admin On September - 20 - 2009 ADD COMMENTS

The dealer is always believed to play with higher cards like the king or an ace. His cards get compared with other player’s cards one by one, in a clockwise direction. Certain rules make this game quite different. You can only play with one hand for every player. Multiple hands are not allowed. Your information has to be kept secret to yourself. Even the dealer is not supposed to know about your cards. You can meet a dead end under many circumstances. Disclosure of your cards to your fellow players or the dealer can cause dead ends. Incorrect distribution of cards to each player can also cause dead ends but for only the particular player. Other players remain safe. There is a supervisor who is responsible for all the final decisions. But the dealer’s dealt cards can be rectified. If he has dealt lesser number of cards, he can make up for it by dealing additional cards to that player in order to avoid dead end. The Texas Hold em is popular version of this game. The “Seven Card Stud” is a popular card game. It is played with two cards dealing at a time, where only one card is exposed before the stake.
